Feeling Inspired
Back in December of 2020 I wrote this piece titled, “Getting Out of a Funk” where I was having a hard time finding the motivation to even get out of bed some days. I wrote that piece as a way to somehow put into words of what a horrible year 2020 was to most of us. Within the time span of December 2020 to June 2021 I was once again finding it hard to be inspired. Everything around me felt bland and repetitive.
It hit me one day when a family member said that this was the longest I’ve been uninspired. As soon as I heard that I started looking for ways to be inspired.
I can tell you that I was wrong about looking for inspiration. At that time I wasn’t looking for inspiration, I was looking for ways to keep my mind busy. Let’s just say that those two feelings are completely different. Now I can’t tell you how this inspiration came to be, however, I can tell you that when you feel it you’ll know.
It’s this feeling of sudden adrenaline, but instead of doing multiple things at once and going crazy. It’s a tunnel vision straight to one of those goals you have written down somewhere. Go for it! Use that as your fuel to start that business or bettering yourself for you.
